First and foremost, we are educators. David and Dale have a combined experience of over 40 years in the international educational field, in both formal and non-formal settings. Together with our network of experienced trainers and educators, we deliver programmes that are underpinned by solid educational principles and practice.
David has taught in international schools and has an MSc in Development Management with a focus on education. He has developed and delivered training programmes around the world, including for NGOs in India and Sierra Leone.
A Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Silver Award Holder, David has worked at local, national and international level for the Award. In his various roles he has managed up to 200 Award Units and over 1000 volunteers. He is a Gold Award Expedition Assessor.
David is passionate about international development, and is currently trustee of an international charity.
With 25 years’ experience in education as a qualified youth worker, Dale has worked internationally in areas such as North America, Cyprus and the Middle East.
Dale has the ability to make the complex simple and the difficult much less scary.
He lives with his wife and daughter in Quebec City and enjoys nothing better than being outside on his bicycle.
We believe that all young people deserve transformative non-formal educational opportunities as well as an excellent formal education. We want all young people to have access to meaningful and engaging personal development experiences which empower them to recognise their potential, to contribute positively to their community and to become responsible global citizens.
